Changes Add Value
Our clients asked us to help them update the kitchen on a new home they had just purchased.
Keeping the existing oak cabinets, but painting them white, lighted and brightened the entire room. We then added a quartz countertop that resembles marble without the worries of staining or maintenance. Then to bring color to the white kitchen, we added soft blue/gray subway tiles. A new wide plank hardwood floor and updated appliances completed this renovation.
In addition to the kitchen, we took the hardwood flooring throughout the first level. Then, updated a 1/2 bath, laundry room and painted throughout. The agent who sold them the home was shocked by the changes and told them that the home’s value had increased by $100,000. Yea!
